Bodiam Station - Home Page

Anyone visiting the site will have noticed a lack of any progress over the last two years. Unfortunately I was unwell and then a combination of family illness have put a stop to progress. Hopefully I will be able to get on with the next baseboards before the end of the year (5/6/2022).

This site covers the construction of a 'O' Gauge (7mm or 1:43) ScaleSeven layout of Bodiam Station in Kent (part of the Kent and East Sussex branch line). It will be based around the 1950s.  The railway was still functinoing at this time prior to being closed and then reopened as a Heritage Line.

The intention is to build a full-size exact depiction. That is not as mad as it sounds because the whole layout, including entry and exit boards will be about 20 feet long and around 40 inches wide.

The map below shows a plan of the station and the Templot track plan.
